A prompt for every shot
Each cut has its own timecode and prompt, keeping unrelated locations, actions, or camera setups out of the same generation request.
Free · six AI prompt formats
Turn a reference video into editable prompts for Veo, Kling, Runway, Seedance, and Sora, with one prompt and the right frame instructions for each shot.
Upload and analyze
Get prompts by shot, real start and end frames, and model-ready instructions in one analysis.
2. Upload your source video
Choose a short video to begin.
Report a problemYour source stays visible
Compare every generated shot description with the original video before you copy the prompt.
Direct answer
Upload a short video, review the detected shots, then choose the AI video model you plan to use. The tool keeps the observed subject, setting, action, camera movement, timing, visible text, and sound consistent while changing the prompt structure and frame instructions for that model.
The output is designed for generation, not just description. Each cut becomes a separate task with its own prompt and downloadable frames, so you can test, correct, and assemble the shots instead of asking one model to recreate a fully edited video at once.

Model-ready result
Analyze once, then compare formats without paying for another analysis. The source facts remain editable when you switch models.
Each cut has its own timecode and prompt, keeping unrelated locations, actions, or camera setups out of the same generation request.
Download real opening, reference, and ending images from the uploaded video. The selected format tells you which frames belong in that workflow.
Check subject, scene, movement, camera, lighting, visible words, dialogue, music, ambience, and effects before they enter the final prompt.
Start with Universal or switch to Veo, Kling, Runway, Seedance, or Sora. You do not need to upload the source again.
From reference to generator
Choose the destination model before copying. A useful prompt must fit both the source video and the controls available in the tool where you will generate it.
Use Universal when you are still comparing tools. Choose Veo, Kling, Runway, Seedance, or Sora when you already know where the prompt will be pasted.
Choose an MP4, MOV, or WebM file no longer than 60 seconds and strictly below 20 MiB (20,971,520 bytes). Keep the original visible during review.
Play every timecode and edit anything the analysis got wrong. Direction, speed, camera movement, readable words, and sound cues can change the generated result.
Use the listed frames, paste that shot prompt, and compare the result beside the source. Fix the field that failed before moving to the next shot.
Pick the right format
The scene facts do not change, but the image inputs and job of the text box do. The format picker turns one reviewed analysis into instructions that fit the next tool.
| Format | Frame guidance | Prompt emphasis |
|---|---|---|
| Universal | All extracted frames remain available for review | A complete visual and sound brief while you decide which generator to use. |
| Veo | Opening and ending frame guidance | One continuous transition, timing, visual direction, dialogue, ambience, and effects. |
| Runway | Opening frame guidance | Clear subject, environment, and camera motion in direct positive language. |
| Kling | Opening and ending frame guidance when supported | The physical transition between the two states and stable subject identity. |
| Seedance or Sora | Reference frames remain available beside the brief | Ordered action and a compact shot plan built from the same checked observations. |
Set the right expectation
A prompt can describe the visible result, but it cannot recover the original model, seed, hidden reference images, or exact settings from a finished video. Those details are absent from the rendered file.
Generation models can still drift on identity, object contact, readable text, fast action, and exact timing. The downloadable frames and shot-by-shot workflow give you clearer constraints and smaller failures to fix.
Frame to Prompt prepares the prompt pack; it does not generate the replacement video. You paste the output and upload the listed frames inside the AI video product you choose.
Specific questions
Choose the destination model, upload a short clip, and review the detected shots. Correct the evidence fields, then copy one model-specific prompt per shot and use the listed frames in your AI video generator.
The tool provides Universal, Veo, Kling, Runway, Seedance, and Sora formats. These formats reorganize the same reviewed video observations for different generation workflows.
Yes. The current public version is free, requires no login or card, and has no ad gate. Each visitor can run up to three analyses per day, subject to site-wide daily capacity.
The complete pack preserves the sequence, but each cut also gets a separate prompt. Generating one shot at a time gives the model one continuous action and camera setup to solve.
No. It provides a checked starting point and source frames. Identity, text, precise motion, timing, and sound may need another generation or an edit after generation.
No. Switch the format after analysis. Your edits and the observed shot details stay in place while the model-specific prompt updates.
